The Horatio Alger Association of Canada offers 10 scholarships in the amount of $10,000 and 150 scholarships in the amount of $5,000 to support students experiencing financial need.

Our goal is to support students across Canada who remain resilient in the face of adversity and are experiencing critical financial need. This is why we go beyond the scholarship award to provide our scholarship recipients with additional financial support, and a range of holistic care, including mental health services, mentorship opportunities, and one-on-one academic and financial counselling.

Open to students currently in Grade 11. We do this to support our scholarship recipients in grade 12 as they prepare to transition to University. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2023 at 12 p.m. EST.
